Several weddings and numerous parties have been held at the meadow over the past century with the top half of the meadow being sympathetically landscaped to allow a large flat and easily accessible top tier with lots of space for your marquee, geo-dome, Tepee or even your own outdoor dance floor!  With uninterrupted views over the Devon countryside and coastline, we have special areas with roaring fire pits, hay bales and throws for you to relax when you’ve finished tearing up the dance floor or to catch up with old friends.

Choosing the right wedding venue venue in Devon is a difficult thing to do so below you will find a list of some of the things you need to consider when planning your event.  We’ve covered a lot of things off in our packages but for peace of mind here are the answers to some of the most common questions we get.

• Unfortunately you cannot get legally married at our venue, however you can have a blessing. We are lucky to be surrounded by some lovely locations that can be used for the wedding ceremony itself and we are more than happy to recommend a few.
• Fresh water, toilets and rubbish facilities are provided in line with your package choice.
• Bar and licenses or your own requirements can be catered for.
• All electrical power is provided by efficient state of the art generators.
• There is plenty of room for camping. Glamping tents etc. can be supplied if necessary.
• There is lots of space for parking on our flat first tier.
• Controlled fire pits can be provided in your package.
• Cleaning services can be provided as part of the package.
• The site is flat, ideal for wheelchair access.
